New Delhi [India], July 18 (ANI): The Rouse Avenue court on Thursday directed the jail authorities to take BRS leader K Kavitha to All India Institute of Medical Sciences for diagnosis within two days. The court has also called for a report from Jail Superintendent of concerned doctor.

Special judge Kaveri Baweja on Thursday passed the direction on the application moved for K Kavitha.
The court has also called a report from jail authorities on the poor condition of medical apparatus within two days.
Meanwhile, her judicial custody has been extended till July 22. K Kavitha was produced through video conferencing from Tihar Jail.
She informed the court that the health monitoring apparatus was not working properly and there were discrepancies in the results.
An application for treatment was submitted to a private hospital on her behalf. Her medical examination was done at the Hospital after she had some health issues, including high fever, cold, etc.
Advocate Nitesh Rana submitted that K Kavitha should be taken to any private hospital and a family member be allowed to remain present.
He also suggested that she be taken to a private hospital for a check-up, as she has some health issues.
