Jammu (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], August 4 (ANI): Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha called upon the youth to dedicate themselves towards achieving the goal of ‘Viksit Bharat’ and utilising their knowledge and ideas for this shared goal.
Addressing at the Viksit Bharat-Yuva Connect Programme in Jammu, Manoj Sinha shed light on the intricacies of the human mind, calling it a “network of ideas.”
“I believe that the biggest miracle of the universe is the human mind. There are about 10,000 crore neurons in the brain of every student present here, and one neuron is connected to about 1,000 other neurons…It is not visible physically, but the network of the mind is so vast that you cannot compare it with any network or platform in the world. I consider it a network of ideas,” he said.
Manoj Sinha emphasised that any nation becomes great solely because of the “potential” of the human mind and urged youth to dedicate themselves to the goal of ‘Viksit Bharat.’
“If this powerful force is dedicated to a purpose, then there will be no problem in achieving it, nor will any power in the world be able to stop it. I believe any nation becomes great due to the potential of the human mind, not because of its geographical area. This power (human mind) should be completely dedicated to the creation of a developed India,” he said.
“Viksit Bharat 2047” is an initiative aimed at realising India’s aspiration of becoming a developed nation.
To advance this goal of developed India by 2047 among youth, the “Viksit Bharat Ambassador -Yuva Connect” program has been conceptualized with the aim to foster youth engagement and leadership in the developmental transformation of India. These events are organised around discussions on the concept of Viksit Bharat with young people in educational institutions throughout India. Youth also get an opportunity to interact with eminent speakers, according to a release by Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.
Through these programs, emphasis is laid on values such as national identity, civic engagement, social cohesion, human capital development, critical thinking, and empowerment, so that students are better prepared to contribute positively to their societies. These interactions not only enhance individual growth but also strengthen the fabric of the nation as a whole, the release added. (ANI)
