Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [India], August 14 (ANI): Ahead of the 78th Independence Day, Uttar Pradesh Minister of State for Minority Welfare, Muslim Waqf, and Haj, Danish Azad Ansari, participated in the Tiranga Yatra as part of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign in Lucknow on Wednesday.
He stated that the future of Muslim youth aligns with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
Thousands of madrasa students joined the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign.
Danish Azad Ansari said, “The Modi-Yogi government has always aimed to educate and empower Muslim youth, bringing them into the mainstream of society. You can see this reflected on the streets of Lucknow. More than 10,000 Muslim youths are participating in this Tiranga Yatra with us. PM Modi called for the Tiranga Yatra from August 13 to 15. We are committed to the progress of Muslim youth.”
He further emphasised that the large turnout of Muslim youth at the campaign demonstrated their support for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government.
He added, “You can see where the Muslim youth stand. They are the future of our community, and this future stands with the Modi-Yogi government.”
The ‘Tiranga Yatra’ is part of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan,’ launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to instill a sense of nationalism by encouraging citizens to display the national flag at their homes.
Earlier, Union Home Minister Amit Shah participated in the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan’ in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, where he stated that the ‘Abhiyan’ is not just a display of patriotism, but also a resolution to build a developed India by 2047.
“The ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign initiated by PM Modi is not just an expression of patriotism, but a resolution to create a Viksit Bharat by 2047. As we enter the 78th year of Independence on August 15, make sure that no house, building, office, or vehicle is without the tricolour,” Shah said.
In the 112th edition of ‘Mann Ki Baat’ on July 28, Prime Minister Modi called on all Indians to participate in the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign to celebrate Independence Day.
‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ is a campaign under the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav initiative. It was launched in 2021 to encourage people to bring the Tiranga home and hoist it to mark the 75th year of India’s independence. The initiative aims to invoke patriotism in people’s hearts and promote awareness about the Indian National Flag. (ANI)
