Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Dhami announces plans to develop Gairsain – World News Network

Gairsain (Uttarakhand) [India], August 22 (ANI): Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has announced the construction of a rest house for journalists in Gairsain (Bharadisain) on Thursday. The Director General of Information Department, Bansidhar Tiwari was ordered by the Chief Minister to prepare an immediate action plan regarding the construction of the rest house.
“The priority of our government is to develop Gairsain as a centre for yoga, meditation and spirituality along with its all-round development. Necessary guidelines have been given to the officials for this,” the CM said in a post on X.
The Chief Minister also directed the Secretary of Culture and Religious Affairs, Harichandra Semwal to build a grand temple of Maa Bharadi Devi in Gairsain (Bharadisain) and to take the suggestions from the local people in the area and various other stakeholders like pilgrimage priests.
The Chief Minister reiterated the priority of the government is to have all-round development in Gairsain. To facilitate such development, various trainings, workshops, and seminar programs will be organized throughout the year in Gairsain Bhawan.
The Chief Minister said that the responsibility to conduct the programs will be given to the Secretary level officers and that the programs are supposed to be running throughout the year in Gairsain. The Chief Minister also added that various programs are to be conducted throughout the year and that such a move will strengthen the local economy.
There is also a plan to develop Gairsain as a centre of yoga, meditation, and spirituality. The Chief Minister also confirmed that the construction work for police housing in Bharadisain is in progress.
The work of sustainable development has been on the agenda for the Uttarakhand government. The Chief Minister inaugurated the three-day Nanda Devi Lokjat fair in Chamoli district on Wednesday, where he announced the construction of various projects, including various sports grounds in Nandanagar, Narayanbag and Dewal and to upgrade the Nandanagar Hospital to a District Hospital.
The Chief Minister additionally mentioned that the work of sustainable development is also going on at a rapid pace in the state. He also claimed that Uttarakhand stands at the first position in sustainable development in the country. (ANI)
